What we collect
We collect the contact, business, website and project information you enter in the portal, along with any logos, photos or documents you choose to upload. If a project proceeds, this can include a payment receipt, an optional payment note and messages exchanged in the private project chat. Basic technical and security information may also be recorded to keep the portal reliable and secure.
Why we use it
Your information is used to understand your needs, recommend an appropriate website scope, prepare a quote, build your project and communicate with you about it. We do not sell your personal information.
Anonymous website measurement
We record a small set of first-party events—such as an anonymous visit, starting a brief, continuing a project or opening a featured case study—to understand whether the website is doing its job. These analytics records use a random session identifier and do not store your name, email address, IP address or browser user-agent.
Who can access it
Access is limited to UNDERMAN Web Design and service providers needed to securely host and operate the portal. Information is only shared further when you ask us to, when it is needed to deliver an agreed service, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
Project information is kept only as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, website project, support and business record-keeping. It is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete information you have provided, subject to any information we must keep by law. You can also withdraw optional portfolio or marketing permission at any time.
